completed giant panels. oil on canvass 12 feet by 6 feet. Some panels larger! |
I use to stretch canvass and create giant sized panels in my bathing suit, then jump in the pool after! |

Incredible art!! I always admire people who can transform blank canvas like that. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, those are some amazing pieces. That's cool that you did some of them in a bathing suit.
ReplyDeleteGreat art. I seem to remember hearing about Farrah Fawcett doing what you are seen doing in your bathing suit, only she was naked. Ever try? Thanks for sharing. Good luck with the editing.
ReplyDeleteReally wonderful pieces! And I love that you worked in your bathing suit! What an awesome photo – the artist at work.
ReplyDeleteWow, I like these, especially the last one! Very nice!
ReplyDeletecool blog to stumble on - do you miss, London?
ReplyDeleteWow! This is all fantastic! Love that you used to stretch canvas in your bathing suit. What a fun way to do something you love. I haven't taken an art class since the fifth grade, which is probably okay because I stink at art. even my stick figures need labels to know what they are.
ReplyDeleteThose are great pieces of art!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for your comments on my art. Much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteRobyn: No, I never did try sloshing my body around in it. At the time it was all very much oils I worked with, and its so difficult to get off the skin. The magic for me is in the paint brush or sponges. I did try a few Pollock styles, with throwing paint from a ladder a few times. That was fun.
Those panels are amazing! Man, I wish I were artistic! :)
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, I'm ashamed to say this is my first visit to your blog. It is so interesting and full of wonderful stuff to read and see. I like that you're reviewing books and displaying your beautiful artwork. I plan to come back often.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks so much for your comments on my blog posts. I appreciate your heartfelt support.
